About the artist:

Chris Ortiz is currently a senior at SUNY New Paltz, and studies painting, drawing, and graphic design. He hopes to work as an illustrator for character and concept designs in graphic novels, animation, and video games.

The design is added to the same quality trunks offered throughout our site and is available on any size trunk (excluding the Cubes!). Our American made,hand-crafted college dorm trunk is constructed from the highest quality components. They have a waterproof, dentproof, scratchproof exterior 1000d Cordura sheathing that’s laminated over 3/8" Baltic Birch hardwood plywood. They are stocked in 18 colors and weigh about 20% less than steel trunks. They not only are just as strong as steel trunks, but are actually more durable. Our trunks are conveniently sized and ruggedly built. They’re strong enough to stand on and are easily stowed and can be securely locked to insure the safety of personal items. Exterior is laminated over 3/8" premium grade Baltic Birch hardwood plywood.

Each trunk comes with 2 nickel plated steel universal wheel adapter plates already mounted on the side of the trunk. This allows you to easily add or remove the specially designed 200 pound rated wheels (sold separately) to your trunk anytime you want, anywhere you want in a matter of seconds. They’re extremely easy to use! No tools are needed, nor does the trunk need to be lifted to install them. Best of all, these advanced design wheels do not add any extra height to the trunk. Even with the wheels on, the trunk is stackable.
